MILŠPED CASE STUDY
Milsped, a logistics service provider with a global reach, has used Honeywell Voice and VoiceXtreme software with new workflows to raise the performance of its picking operations. Here, VoiceXtreme functions not only as an interface between Honeywell Voice and Infor (WMS), but also guarantees the exchange of data in real time. This also applies to orders that are split – to be fulfilled in parallel via Voice and with handhelds.
Project Description
The integration of voice-based technology into the Infor WMS system and VoiceXtreme confers multiple benefits on Milsped. Picking performance, quality and employee motivation have all improved, as has the transparency of both up-and-running and planned processes. This also includes control functions which enable even unusual customer wishes to be fulfilled.
